RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala observed to mark the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi concluded on Friday. Majalis-e-Aza were held followed by Taboot processions throughout the country.

Taboot procession was taken out from Imambargah Zainul Abideen under the auspices of Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan in which Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made a special participation and offered Ziarat of the Taboot. The procession terminated after reaching Ali Masjid. A Majlis-e-Aza was organized at Khaima Sadaat Mashadi in Shahpur Taxila under the auspices of Syed Iftikhar Hussain Mashadi and Syed Jone Ali Mashadi. Ch. Mushtaq Hussain, Muntazir Mehdi, Zakir Syed Hamid Hussain Shah, Syed Qasid Hussain Shah, Zakir Khalid Mehmood Haideri, and Zakir Tasawwar Hussain addressed the Majlis after which Alam procession of Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (A.S.) was taken out. The procession terminated at Imambargah Qasr-e-Zehra Shahpur after marching through the residences of Syed Akhtar Hussain Shah, Syed Mazhar Hussain Shah, Syed Zahoor Hussain Shah, Syed Tahir Hussain Shah en route P.M.O. Road. MFP, M.O. MSO and Ibrahim Scouts performed the security duties for the procession.

Earlier, Allama Ijaz Hussain Madras addressing the Majlis-e-Aza said that Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) in the dark era of oppression and brutality through his character, firmness and deeds enlightened the religion, Shariat and Hussainiyyat. He said the Asswah-e-Sajjadia is the beacon of light for the oppressed the world over. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi in his address said that Imam Ali Ibn Al-Hussain (A.S.) is the eye witness of the Karbala incident who took over the Dastar-e-Imamat in the burning tentages and saved the honour and dignity of the Aal-e-Rasool (A.S.). Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri also addressed the Majlis.

A resolution presented by Tanvir Kazmi, Secretary Information, Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan was unanimously adopted by the participants. The resolution strongly condemning the Adviser of the Iraqi government for making fun out of the Sha’air-e-Hussainia and Sha’air Allah made it clear that external Rushdies could not be encountered unless the internal Rushdies are checked first. Another resolution lauded the newly elected American President Barak Hussain Obama for fulfilling the electoral promise to close down Guantenamube Jail and all CIA centres outside America and called upon him to also close the torture cells in India and Israel in the similar fashion; and like he has issued directive to plan pullout of American forces from Iraq, similarly American forces from Afghanistan should also be withdrawn; Kashmir and Palestine issues should be resolved so as to turn the Middle East and the South Asia hubs of peace. The resolution strongly condemned Israeli aggression and barbarism in Gaza and oppression and brutalities being carried out throughout the world including Kashmir, Iraq and Afghanistan. Another resolution announced commitment to ensure implementation of Code of Azadari announced by the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi during all programmes till 8th Rabiul Awwal.

Prof. Perveen Zaidi addressed the Majlis Beemar-e-Karbala (A.S.) at Jamia Al-Murtaza under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtran-e-Islam that followed taking out of Taboot Beemar-e-Karbala (A.S.) and Matamdari. Accordingly to reports reaching the TNFJ offices Majlis-e-Aza were held and Taboot processions were taken out in other cities also including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Hyderabad, Larkana, Nawabshah, Sukkur, Khairpur Mirs, Sargodha, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, Faisalabad, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock, Gujrat, Kohat, Bahawalpur.
