Rajab 27 … Prophet Muhammad (p)’s Accession & Annunciation
By: Raza Ali
WASHINGTON, United States: Special functions, galas, festivals,
mahafil, Quran contests and poetic gatherings were held across globe
to celebrate the auspicious and glorious occasion of Rajab 27.
Rajab 27 is Eid day, the day of Me’raj (accession) and Ba’sat
(annunciation).
The Apostleship of the Chief of Prophets, Prophet Muhammad (Peace of
Allah be on him & his pure progeny), was annunciated on this day.
The Me’raj (accession), about which Quran says: “Glory be to Him who
made His servant go by night from the sacred Mosque to the furthest
Mosque whose precincts We have blessed.” [17:1], took place in
Bayt-ul-Moqaddas that is situated in the Elia City of Palestine.
There are two parts of the Me’raj (accession) — first is called Isra
and the second as Me’raj. It is mentioned in Surah Najam, the second
one is greater than the first thus the fame. The Holy Prophet (Peace
of Allah be on him & his pure progeny) went to a place that was not
accessible to others before, neither it is accessible today nor it
would be in future
Be’sat-e-Nabawi (Peace of Allah be on him & his pure progeny) - the
Holy Prophet (Peace of Allah be on him & his pure progeny) had said
that objective of my Be’sat is rebuilding of moral.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
