Mauled-os Sadeqayn (AS) … two new mosques open in Florida

FLORIDA, The United States: Opening ceremonies of two news mosques/husseiniyaat
were held in Florida attended by large number of believers.
On Saturday, February 28th Imam Sayed Moustafa al-Qazwini visited the
newly built Jaffaria Islamic Center of Florida (JIC) in Kissimmee.
The JIC was built through donations of the devout believers in the
state of Florida. It is in close proximity to the Disney World theme
park and it offers a variety of programs in Urdu and English
languages.

The second new mosque opening took place on Sunday, March 8th, 2009 at
the Islamic Educational Center of Orlando (IEC).
The inauguration ceremony coincided with the birth of Prophet Muhammad
(as) and Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (as). The keynote speaker was Imam Sayed
Moustafa al-Qazwini. The opening drew in a large crowd from across the
state of Florida.
