Ten-day Fatimia mourning; Moosavi says Hazrat Zahra (A) unveiled the faces of enemies of religion and Shariaa

By: Salman Alvi

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that people and the leaders should keep in mind that causing harm to the citadel of Islam Pakistan in the hour of need and trial for the Muslim Ummah, is commensurate with causing harm to the religion and Shariat and helping the Pakistan’s armed forces is tantamount to supporting Islam.

These views were expressed by him while addressing Grand Majlis-e-Aza on the occasion of “International Ashra-e-Aza-e-Fatimia” which is being observed from May 22-31 in connection with the Shahadat of Khatoon-e-Jannat Syeda Fatima tuz-Zahra (S.A.).

In a statement issued from the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo, he said Binte Rasool Hazrat Fatima tuz-Zahra (S.A.) performed the greatest duty of protecting the religion of Islam and unveiled the faces of enemies of religion and Shariat. He said today the followers of religion and Shariat are again confronted with oppression, brutality and terrorism, life for people of Kashmir and Palestine is being made difficult, and Iraq and Afghanistan are being given the bloodbath, and holy places are being desecrated.

Agha Moosavi said that motherland Pakistan is being targeted for following the Nazria Asaasi (basic ideology) - Islam - that is why today everyone is shedding the bloody tears and each home and every city is mourning, people have been displaced and some elements are targeting the followers of Shariat-e-Muhammadi in the garb of Shariat.

He said international colonial powers have made their permanent presence in this region as a result of which Pakistan’s armed forces had to begin operation to defend the motherland. In this hour of trial, he added, the whole nation should be behind the Pakistan’s armed forces so that they could become successful in this decisive outburst.

The TNFJ chief said everyone tries to find out his ideal and Ambia, Mursaleen, Aulia and Saleheen had been the ideal of human beings. But in women at large, there are four personalities that have been declared most respectable and complete example to follow: Aasia Binte Mazahim, Maryam Binte Imran (Eisa’s mother), Khadija Binte Khawalid (A.S.) and Fatima Binte Muhammad (SAAW).

Quoting Baharul Anwaar, he said Fatima Zahra (S.A.) is that holiest woman who was entitled as Syeda-tun-Nisa Al-Alameen i.e. mistress of the women in the universe by the Holy Prophet (SAAW). And the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) addressing Hazrat Zahra (S.A.) said that the biggest blessing Allah gave you (Fatima) is that you have been awarded with father like Muhammad (SAAW), husband like Ali (A.S.) and sons like Hassan (A.S.) and Hussain (A.S.).

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said that her life style is the ideal for women at large and she is exemplary viz. Zuhd-o-Taqwa, honor, respect, and the Khanwada. When the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) asked her as who is the best woman. She said the one no ‘Na-Mehram’ sees her and she does not see any ‘Na-Mehram’. On this the Rasool Allah (SAAW) kissed the forehead of his daughter. She has the honor that Rasool (SAAW) had to stand up in her honor and kiss her hands and make her sit with respect.

He said Hazrat Fatima (S.A.) followed in the footsteps of her mother in helping her father (SAAW) in the work of his Risalat.

He said that on the occasion of “International Ashra Aza-e-Fatmia” we would have to announce our commitment to condemn the oppressors and oppression and do not lag behind in supporting the oppressed and the have-nots.
