Eastern region celebrates Imam Ridha b-day

AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: To mark the anniversary of birth
of A-Imam Ali b. Mussa Ar-Ridha (a.s.), the eighth infallible
descendant of Prophet Muhammad (s.w.), on Dholqadah 11 Friday
October 30, festivals and celebrations were held in the oil-rich
Mo’minin-dominated eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
The celebrations at beautifully decorated mosques, husseiniyaat and
ma’atam that began on Thursday culminated Friday attended by
thousands of believers and followers of Ahlil Beit (a.s.).
Sayed Ja’fer Al-Alwi, poet Naji Harabah, eulogist Ja’fer Al-Qash’ami,
eulogist Sabir Al-Mudhi addressed a festive gathering held at Masjid
Al-Imam Ar-Ridha in Safwa on Thursday.
In Al-Qatif, Al-Imam Ar-Ridha festival was organized at Masjid
Al-Masalah.
