Millions gather in Najaf to observe Imam Ali martyrdom

HOLY NAJAF, Iraq: Millions of mourners descended at the
holy city of Najaf to observe here the anniversary of martyrdom of
Sayedol Wasiyyeen, Imam-ol Mottaqeen, Amir-ol Mo’minin Al-Imam Ali
ibne Abi Talib (AS) on Ramadan 21 that fell this year on Friday
September 11.
Security was tightened as more than 30,000 personnel took
part in security plan.
