O the Chief of the testamentary executors,
O the commander of the faithful,
O the brother of the Chief of Prophets (S)
O the spouse of the Mistress of the Women of the World
O the father of the Chiefs of the Youth of Paradise
O the father of Sharikatul Hussain
O Abul A’immah
O the Lion of Allah

You who belong to heaven,
tell me where are you from?
You are from a family up high,
belonging to the heaven

You are the one
About whom prophet said
I am the city of knowledge and Ali (A) is its gate

You are the one
Whom prophet (S) called for help
Saying Naad-e-Ali (A)…

You are like a moon and sun in the galaxy
In all times and in every place
You are a strong helper and supporter to the helpless
You are the pain-reliever to the soul,
you calm down the soul

Oh the king of the men (people),
Ali (A) the God-knower (Ali (A) the "'aref"/irfan
Our beloved Master Ali (A)

For every weak person you are his backbone (support) and shelter
You are the light of a lamp in every darkness

You are sunlight which lights up the world
You obeyed (bowed your neck) to the Law of God
Until (so) you can keep the verses of the Quran Alive
