Marasim-e-Azadari in Azad Kashmir By: Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah Kazmi
MUZAFFARABAD, Azad Kashmir: This is the fair truth that there is no part/place of the globe remained empty of Marasim-e-Azadari Imam-e-Mazloom Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) who offered that great sacrifice which is unparalleled. Marasim-e-Azadari were also held and are in continuance in all district/cities of Azad Kashmir and also in Indian held Kashmir. On Ashoora Day, mourners performed Amaal-e-Ashoora followed by majalis, matam, processions of Zuljinah, Alam and Tazia, and Niyaz-e-Hussaini. The Youm-e-Ashoor processions in Azad Kashmir were taken out from Markazi (Hadri) Imam Bargh Bagh City, Central Imam Bargah Muzaffarabad City, Markazi Kazmia Imam Bargah Serian Syedan, Markazi Masjid and Imam Bargah Chattrah, Markazi ImamBargah Teetrenote in cities Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Havali, Rawalakot, Abbas pur, Hajaira, Kotli, Mirpur. Mourners of Imam Hussain (AS) performed zanjeer-Zani and matam on this great occasion. During these processions, the Ulama and Zakireen present the ideology of Imam Hussain (AS) and the philosophy of Azadari that is the name of preferring death with honour than living in disgrace. They said grief of Imam Aali Muqaam (AS) is not inheritance of any particular sect rather his sacrifice was for human values and for survival of principles of Allah that is why every conscious person is indebted to Hussain ibne Ali (AS).
Speakers urged Azadars to strictly follow the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and promote Shia-Sunni brotherhood and unity in all around. The thousands of Mourners gathered on the occasion reiterated their resolve to offer every kind of sacrifice on the call of Quaid-e-Millat Jafariya Agha Moosavi for the promotion of Wilayat-e-Ali (AS) and protection of Azadari-e-Hussain (AS). Markazi Anjumen-e-Kazamia, Mukhtar Force, Mukhtar Students Organization, Mukhtar Generation and other political/religious organizations took part in organizing the processions.
