Iraq Scholars Association hails handing of keys to Marjaiyah By: Ismail Zabeeh HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: The Religious Scholars Association in Iraq has issued a statement on Friday 20 August regarding the signs of crisis end in the holy Najaf. The association is considered significant because it includes all Marjaiyaat Ad-Diniyah and the Hawza personalities in Iraq. “The Religious Scholars Association in Iraq supports the delivery of the sacred Haidari shrine’s keys to the office of Al-Marjaiyah Ad-Diniyah (the religious authority) in the Holy Najaf, and considers it a right step in the right direction, because it leads to the maintenance of the sanctuaries and sparing the blood,” said the statement. It further said: “The association considers that solution to this crisis by this way proves that the Al-Marjaiyaat Ad-Diniyah (religious authorities) are capable to solve the existing problems better than what the missiles, the cannons and the machineguns can do.” Original text of the statement is as under:
