Hawzaat observe mourning to protest holy cities attacks By: Sheikh Muhammad Khurasani HOLY NAJAF/HOLY QOM: Hawzaat in Holy Najaf, Holy Qom and all Islamic cities observed mourning for the martyrs of bloody attacks that targeted Holy Najaf and Holy Karbala, and announced off days in protest over security situation. Supreme Management Council of Hawzah in Holy Qom, which houses the holy shrine of Al-Imam Mousa bin Jafar Al-Kazim (p)’s daughter Sayyedeh Fatimeh Al-Masoumeh (p), issued a communiqué on Monday announcing that all seminaries around the country will be closed on Tuesday in protest against Sunday’s terrorist attacks in holy cities. The objective of closure of country's Hawzaat is meanwhile to express empathy with the innocent people of Iraq and in condemnation of the latest inhumane tragedies in that country with over 260 casualties only in holy Najaf and holy Karbala. Al-Imam Al-Hakim Religious Foundation in the holy city of Najaf declared that the studies would remain suspended throughout the week to express solidarity with the innocent victim families. Tanzim Al-Madares Al-Ja’faria in Pakistan also suspended studies and organized condolence meetings. END |
