Dyala festival focuses on Iraq constitution, problems

DYALA, Iraq: Ar-Rasul Al-Adham (pbuh&hp) Islamic Cultural Forum in Dyala organized a religious, intellectual and political festival on the directives of Ayatullah As-Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Ash-Shirazi at Husseiniyah Al-Khales.

Large number of people including government officials, judges, leaders and chiefs of different tribes attended the program. As-Sayyed Sa’ad Nadhem As-Saedy opened the program with recitation of holy Quran.

Sheikh Hasan Al-Furaty and Allamah Sheikh Nasser Al-Assady, spokesman for Ayatullah Sadiq Ash-Shirazi’s representation center in Iraq addressed.

Al-Assady spoke on the topic of the importance of Iraqi constitution and basic law as well as problems of Iraq and the Islamic world.

“It is binding on each of us that we realize accurately and completely the essence of the new constitution,” he said adding Islam is that religion which resolves all problems of human beings ranging from economic, administrative, and legal till Psychological. We as Muslims should follow Islam, and this should be our constitution.

Sheikh Al-Assady highlighted the life of late Grand Ayatullah As-Sayyed Muhammad Ash-Shirazi who compiled 27 books on Iraq. He hailed the services of late As-Sayyed Hasan Ash-Shirazi.

Sheikh Rashid Al-Kaissy ran the program.
