Hawzah: Both sides responsible for Imam Ali (p) shrine sacrilege

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: After the damage to the Alawi Shrine, Marjaiyah Diniyah in the holy city of Najaf held US forces and As-Sadr’s Mehdi Militia completely responsible for the violation of the sanctity of the site that is sensitive for Muslims around the world.

According to Elaph news, the Marjaiyah issued a statement on Tuesday demanding from all armed elements to quit the holy city of Najaf without any delay. It said the supporters of As-Sadr consider lawful the murder of innocent people and are trampling the honor of holy sites.

The Hawzah called on all Muslims and those who raise the slogans of caring for the holy sites to put pressure on both parties attacking the sanctuaries to leave the holy city of Najaf.
