Inauguration of Kazimiyah Shrine expansion project

HOLY CITY OF KAZIMIYAH, Iraq: In a step to offer better service to the dignified visitors of the holy Kazimiyah shrine which includes mausoleums of Al-Imam Moussa Bin Jafar Al-Kazim and his grandson Al-Imam Muhammad Bin Ali Taqi Al-Jawad ( peace be upon them), the Shiia endowment department opened a project of expansion of Kazimiyah Shrine.

The opening ceremony was held on Monday 20 September attended by a large number of clerics, elites, notabilities, media figures, throngs of guests besides Dr Muhammad Ali Ash-Shahrastani who is the active shareholder in this blessed project.

The project includes expansion of the Holy Shrine and removal of eastern and western pillars aimed at providing wider ground for visitors coming from across the country as well as other countries that number in millions annually.
