65th martyr from Al-Hakim family By: Ismail Zabeeh HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: The 65th martyr from the widely respected family of Grand Marjay (top religious authority) of Shiite World late Sayyed Mohsin Al-Hakim At-Tabatabai is Sayyed Muhammad Al-Hakim, Kerbala news reported Saturday. 18-year-old Sayyed Muhammad Al-Hakim bin Sayyed Hashem Al-Hakim was the grandson of Grand Ayatullah Sayyed Mohsin Al-Hakim. He kissed martyrdom on 19 December 2004 in a terror bomb blast which rocked the holy city of Najaf in which at least 54 people were martyred and over 146 wounded. Sayyed Abdel Aziz Al-Hakim, chairman Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq, is also the son of Grand Ayatullah Sayyed Mohsin Al-Hakim. END |
