AL-YOUSAFIYAH, Iraq: Terrorist elements have destructed all shrines and mausoleums of Auliyaa Allah, or the saints of Allah, in the cities of Al-Yousafiyah, Al-Mahmoudiyaha and Al-Qasr Al-Awsat leaving not even one of these therein.

Nahrain Net reported this while quoting eye-witnesses.

According to the report the shrines were leveled to earth with dynamite aimed at disgracing these holy sites and mausoleums and trampling the dignity of the soil. The terrorists were chanting: “We’ll not leave on the soil of Iraq any idol or icon to be worshipped … the turn will come of the graves of their A’immah”!!!

NN came to know that some of the holy shrines and places include:
Shrine of Al-Abd As-Salih Abdullah bin Al-Hassan Al-Mathna,
Site of Prophet Al-Khidhr (A),
Mausoleum of Al-Imam Al-Akhras from the grandsons of Al-Imam Mousa bin Jafar Al-Kadhim (A),
Shrine of Al-Imam As-Sayyed Faraj

They have also demolished husseiniyah Al-Yousafiyah turning it into ruins; most of Mo’mineen families have migrated from the region to Al-Iskandariya while some to their relatives in Baghdad and at least 30 families are in holy Karbala living a hard life; scores of youth have been kidnapped … all that is going on in the bright daylight.

Americans have a military camp in direction of Al-Qasr Al-Awsat, but despite this they did nothing to stop injustices of these terrorists rather their camp was attacked by the terrorists more than one time.
