Thousands of unique Shia books set on fire in Iraq

By: Ismail Zabeeh

HOLY KARBALA, Iraq: Terrorists in Iraq have torched thousands of rare Shia books regarding Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure progeny) and Aimmah Ahl-ol Beit (peace be upon them), worth $ 45,000.

According to the International Free News Agency, motor vehicles filled with thousands of Shia books on their way to holy city of Karbala – home to the holy shrines of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) and Al-Abbas bin Ali (peace be upon him) – passed through Ar-Ramadi region, where unknown heavily armed men stopped these trucks.

Knowing that the books belong to Shia authors and compilers, and are about Ahl-ol Beit (progeny of holy Prophet, peace be upon them), the terrorists blocked the thorough-fare and burnt all books without caring that the books contain sacred names of Allah and His saints.
