MUSAYYIB, Iraq: About three-dozen innocent Iraqis were
martyred and several others wounded when a car bomb exploded
Wednesday, Ramadan 29, in the town of Musayyib, 36 miles south of the
Iraqi capital.

Iraq is lengthwise from Abadan to Mosul and breadthwise from Qadiyah
to Halwan. It is home to two famous rivers i.e. Tigris and Euphrates.
Its well-known city is holy Najaf which houses holy graves of Prophet
Adam (A), Prophet Noah (A), Caliph of Muslim Al-Imam Ali (A) and many
other prophets. Holy Karbala is another famous city where grandson of
holy Prophet (S) Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A) kissed martyrdom along with
his 72 companions. From among these martyrs were two little sons of
Al-Imam Al-Hussein’s paternal cousin Hadhrat Muslim bin Aqil (A).
These two little kids namely Muhammad and Ibrahim were also nephews of
Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A). Their holy graves are situated in Musayyib
city. This city is on way to Karbala from Kadhemiyah. Shrine of Jassem
Abu-Dharr is on a distance of one mile from the shrine of Hadhat
Muslim (A)’s little kids in south.

According to local security source the car bomb was set off just after
sundown outside a husseiniyah in the city.
On July 16, more than 90 people were martyred when a suicide bomber
set off a massive fireball in the center of Musayyib when he blew
himself up next to a liquefied tanker outside a husseiniyah.
