Allama Murid Kazim departs, thousands attend funeral, Moosavi condoles

SHEIKHUPURA, Pakistan - November 30: Hojjatul Islam Wal Muslimeen Allama Sheikh Murid Kazim Najafi, member Supreme Council of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, elderly religious scholar, researcher, and speaker, was buried in Karbala Sheikhupura in the presence of thousands of mourners.

Allama Syed Abu Jafar Naqvi, Special Representative of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi led the funeral prayer. Among other ulema and zakireen, representative delegation of TNFJ comprising Allama Syed Saqlain Ali Bokhari, Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani and Central TNFJ Spokesman Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi attended the funeral.

Qamar Zaidi delivered the condolence message in which Hamid Moosavi expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Allama Sheikh Murid Kazim Najafi. Addressing the participants of funeral procession on this occasion, he said Allama Najafi was a knowledgeable scholar, devotee of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.), best researcher, great preacher and Munazir. He said his sudden death has created a big gap in the knowledgeable, religious, preaching world.

Agha Moosavi while praying for the best status for the departed soul and advising the aggrieved family to bear patience said:

Meanwhile, the funeral procession began from the residence of Allama Murid Kazim Najafi at Tasveer Mahal Road. Noha Khwani was performed after reaching Imambargah Shan-e-Hussain. Later thousands of people took the funeral to Imambargah Kalan where funeral prayers were offered at Jauhar Park adjacent to the Imambargah after Noha Khwani. All schools of thought respected Allama Murid Kazmi.

According to local people, Allama Murid Kazim Najafi’s was the biggest funeral procession in Sheikhupura’s history.

Sons of Allama Najafi while thanking the representative delegation of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya reiterated their resolve to continue practical struggle for the promotion of the mission of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’ like their late father.
