Arrangements in Holy Karbala as Zyarah Ash-Shabania nears

HOLY KARBALA, Iraq: As days of Zyarah Ash-Shabania (15 Shaban)
approaching, preparations and arrangements are being given final shape
in the holy city of Karbala to provide best services and safe
environment to millions of pilgrims.
Visitation to Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A) in the Shaban 15 night has been
highly recommended. It is the best of deeds and a source of
forgiveness. Traditions say he who desires that 1,24,000 prophets (A)
shake hand with him, he must perform visitation to Al-Imam Al-Hussein
(A), grandson of Chief of Prophets (S) and Master of Youths of
Paradise.
Several million devotees perform visitation to Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A)
each year on 15 Shaban which marks the birth anniversary of last
infallible imam from the progeny of holy Prophet (S), Al-Imam Al-Mehdi
Al-Hojjah Al-Montazar (A).
On Sunday, Iraqi police in the holy city of Kerbala said that they
found and defused a huge truck bomb, days before a religious festival.
"The truck was packed with high-explosives in 16 gas canisters, two
200-litre barrels full of gasoline and explosives and two large
rockets as well as a large artillery shell," said police. In total, it
carried about a tonne of explosives.
