AL-QATEEF, Saudi Arabia: Oil-rich Mo’mineen-dominated eastern parts
of Saudi Arabia witnessed grand spiritual festive gatherings at
husseiniyaat, mosques and common places marking “An-Nasefah”, or the
15th night of Shaban, and the birth anniversary of Al-Imam Al-Mehdi
Al-Montadhar (A).


Such programs and celebrations are banned in other parts of the
kingdom.
A’maal of the great-status night were also performed at the mosques
and husseiniyaat that were decorated beautifully with fresh flowers,
shiny buntings and lights; Sweetmeats were distributed while special
desserts were cooked; and gifts and greetings were exchanged.




Al-Imam Al-Montadhar (A) Committee organized a celebration attended
by a number of elites and notabilities. Al-Mulla Hasan Al-Kanin
recited Mauled while Sheikh Musa Abu-Khamsin spoke on significance of
waiting Imam (A) and preparations for his welcome. Poet Ali Ahmed Al-Mohseen
recited Qasida.






A festive program was held at Ar-Rasul Al-Adham (S) Mosque in Al-Mabraz.
Thousands of devotees attended. Sayyed Hashem As-Salman led A’maal of
the night and later addressed on the topic of Al-Imam Al-Hojjah (A).
Similar gatherings were also held at husseiniyah Al-Mostafa in Al-Moterfi,
Al-Imam Ali (A) Mosque, husseiniyah As-Sadah and many other venues.
