Najaf welcomes hundreds of thousands on Moled-os Sadeqayn (p)

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: In celebration of the birth
anniversary of Savior of Humanity, Seal of Messengers and Prophets
holy Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah (p) and his sixth infallible
inheritor Al-Imam As-Sadeq (p), hundreds of thousands of pilgrims
gathered at the holy shrine of Al-Imam Ali (p), cousin and son-in-law
of the Prophet (p), in the holy city of Najaf on 17 Rabi ol’Olaa.
At the holy shrine, they renewed their devotion and oath of allegiance
to their Prophet (p) and A’immah (p).
Sweetmeats, candies and cakes were distributed to all while special
foods and desserts were prepared for the guests of Al-Imam Ali (p)
marking the occasion.
