Waleed’ol Kabah (A) festivals continue in Najaf, Karbala

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Marking the auspicious occasion
of birth anniversary of Waleed’ol Kabah (the one who was born
in the House of Allah) Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (A),
celebratory gatherings – festivals, mauled programs and
exhibitions - continued across Iraq particularly in the holy
cities of Najaf and Karbala.
On the eve of Rajab 13, the day of birth of Al-Imam Ali (A), a
big festival was held at husseiniyah Al-A’samiyah in the holy
Najaf attended by thousands of devotees.
Speakers threw light on the lofty status of the first
infallible descendant of holy Prophet (S) while eulogists
scented the gathering by presenting eulogies in praise of the
imam Ali (A).
In holy Karbala, a three-day (August 7-9) exhibition in
connection with the happy occasion draws large number of
people.
Special meals, foods and dessert are being prepared for the
guests of Al-Imam Ali (A).
