AL-HILLAH, Iraq: Celebratory gatherings in connection with
the birth anniversary of Al-Imam Ar-Reza (AS) on Dhol-Qa’adah
11 were held in Kufa and Hilla like other cities of Iraq.
Sayed Abdol-Zayd Al-Jabiri and Sheikh Faris Al-Ibrahimi
addressed the gathering in Hillah while eulogies were recited
by the eulogists marking the happy occasion.
In Kufa, the ehtafal (festival) was held at Al-Hadi mosque.
Hojjat-ol Islam Sayed Saddroddin Al-Qabanji, Supreme Council
for Islamic Revolution in Iraq’s official in Holy Najaf, along
with a delegation participated in the festival.
Addressing the gathering, Al-Qabanji urged the need of unity
among Iraqi nation. He said we could not make Iraq developed
and prosper without internal unity. We are duty bound to cut
the veins of terrorism.
Sheikh Salih Al-Hatimi also addressed while qasaed of poets
Qossi Ash-Shimri and Abdullah An-Nabhani were recited. The
qasaed (eulogies) urging Iraqis to stand unitedly against
terrorists, extended greetings to mark the auspicious occasion
of Moled-ol Imam Ar-Reza (AS) and called for following in his
holy teachings.
