Project to refurbish holy Zarih of Al-Imam Ali (p) begins

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: The preliminary project to
renovate the holy mausoleum (Zarih) of Amir`ol Mo’minin Al-Imam Ali
ibn Abi Talib (p) began in cooperation with specialist engineers group
and skilled in art and architecture in the Islamic world.
The project will be put forward in a competition in different the
Islamic countries so the different experiences contribute in
completion of this project.
A number of names and virtues of Amir`ol Mo’minin Al-Imam Ali (p)
along with the names of Prophet Adam (p) and Prophet Noah (p) – buried
near Al-Imam Ali (p) – will be engraved on the new zarih, expected to
be completed in three years.
It is worth noting that the holy shrine of of Amir`ol Mo’minin Al-Imam
Ali ibn Abi Talib (p) is housed in the center of the holy Najaf and
all main roads in the city culminate at it.
