Baghdad car bombing toll goes up to 65

BAGHDAD, Iraq: At least 65 Iraqis were martyred and 85 wounded when a car bomb tore through a market in Baghdad's Sadr city on Saturday, an interior ministry official said.

It is the bloodiest attack in Iraq for three months.

The bomb went off as a police patrol passed through the district's Al-Ula market at about 10:00 am (0600 GMT).
