Extremists protest Samarra shrine reconstruction

SAMARRA, Iraq: A protest to stop
reconstruction of the bombed holy shrine of Al-Imam Ali An-Naqi
and Al-Imam Hasan Al-Askari (p), holy Prophet Muhammad (p)’s
tenth and eleventh infallible descendants respectively, was
staged on July 20 in Samarra, Buratha News reported Friday.
Extremist terror parties i.e. the Iraqi Islamic Party and the
Muslim Scholars Association led by Harith Ad-Dhari organized
the protest saying that rebuilding of the holy Askariyain
shrine will increase sectarianism.
The holy shrine was destructed by terrorists on February 22
this year through bomb explosion.
