Najaf Maraje, Al-Hakim talks focus on Iraq current situation

HOLY NAJAF, Iraq: Sayyed Abdul Aziz Al-Hakim, President Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq, who also heads United Iraqi Alliance, held talks with Holy Najaf Maraje.

In his separate meetings with Ayatullah Sheikh Ishaq Al-Fayad, Ayatullah Sheikh Bashir An-Najafy, Ayatullah Sayyed Said Al-Hakim and Ayatullah Sayyed Ali As-Sistani following his visit to the holy shrine of Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (a.s.), Al-Hakim apprised them ongoing situation in Iraq, formation of new government, and security developments.

Al-Maraje Ad-Dini appreciated the government's struggle for rebuilding and stabilizing Iraq and achievement of peace.


Al-Hakim voices confidence new govt could stop violence

BAGHDAD, Iraq: Sayyed Abdul Aziz Al-Hakim, leader of Iraq's largest political party Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq has said the Iraqi security forces must develop better intelligence to take advantage of the momentum spurred by terrorist Zarqawi's death.
