Best tourist facilities for Najaf pilgrims demanded

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: An-Najaf Al-Ashraf
or the holy city of Najaf - center of Al-Marjaiyah Ad-Diniyah
- hosts the holy mausoleum of Amir-ol Mo'minin Al-Imam Ali bin
Abi Talib (p), that's why draws millions of pilgrims and
visitors who come here to perform zyarah of sacred shrines,
graves and mausoleums.
But these millions of pilgrims do not find any parks, picnic
spots, hotels and other tourism services like other religious
visiting cities.
Meanwhile, a plan to establish a city for pilgrims, consisting
of forty-six hotels and other tourist facilities, in the Holy
Najaf is in progress, according to officials.
People of Najaf have long been demanding from the government
tourism services in order to lessen traveling difficulties
being faced by the countrymen and pilgrims.
