Ya Fatimah … Najaf receives hundreds of thousands of mourners

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Condolence
to Saheb Al-Asr Vaz-Zaman Al-Imam Al-Mehdi Al-Hojjah (may
Allah hasten his reappearance) marking the martyrdom
anniversary of Sayyedah-tu Nessa’el Aalameen Fatimah Az-Zahraa
(peace be upon her) …
Hundreds of thousands of mourning devotees are flocking to the
city of knowledge - holy Najaf - from across the country and
other parts of the world to commemorate the occasion, extend
their condolences to her spouse Al-Imam Ali Al-Mortaza (peace
be upon him) and to renew their allegiance to Az-Zahraa (peace
be upon her).
Iraqi police and forces have been deployed across the holy
city for security of the mourners and Husseini processions.
