Plans to build ‘city for pilgrims’ in Holy Najaf

HOLY NAJAF, Iraq: A plan to establish a city for
pilgrims, consisting of forty-six hotels and other tourist facilities,
in the holy city of Najaf is underway.
This was stated by a Najaf official Engr. Abdelkarim Abdelmagid Al-Khoaga.
Millions of pilgrims annually visit the holy shrine of cousin,
son-in-law and first infallible successor of holy Prophet (p), Al-Imam
Ali bin Abi Talib (p) in the holy city of Najaf.
The holy city is facing lack of hotels and other tourism services.
