Kazemiyah blast martyrs over 40

AL-KAZEMIYAH, Iraq: At least 40 people were martyred and more than two-dozen injured when a powerful car bomb exploded in Holy Kazemiyah, Baghdad, on Monday, Buratha news reported.

Holy Kazemiyah is home to the holy shrines of Al-Imam Mousa bin Jafar Al-Kazem and Al-Imam Muhammad Taqi Al-Jawwad (peace be upon them), 7th and 9th infallible descendants of holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny).

According to the report the explosion occurred at about 12:30 PM.

Bomb rips through Baghdad husseiniyah during Majlis Al-Azaa

BAGHDAD, Iraq: A bomb on a motorcycle exploded in the courtyard of a husseiniyah in northern Baghdad on Tuesday night, leaving at least two-dozen worshippers martyred and wounded and causing severe damage to the building.
