Hoza, Maraje call for restraint on martyrdom of over 200 in Baghdad

HOLY NAJAF, Iraq: Al-Hozaa Al-ILmiyah, Maraje, Ayaat,
religious, political and social figures have strongly
condemned deadliest terrorism on Thursday in Sadr city of
Baghdad which left more than 210 innocent followers of Ahl-ol
Beit (AS) martyred and hundreds other wounded.
Ayatullah Sheikh Ishaq Al-Fayaz, Ayatullah Sayyed Ali AS-Sistani,
Ayatullah Sheikh Hafiz Bashir An-Najafi and Ayatullah Sayyed
Said Al-Hakim in their separate statements while denouncing
the heinous crime have urged Iraqis for self restraint and
stressed them to remain calm so that the conspiracy of pushing
Iraq into civil-war could be thwarted.
Thursday was Iraq's worst day of violence since the US-led
invasion in 2003.
