HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Marking the anniversary of
demolition of holy shrines of A`immah from the progeny of holy
Prophet (s) and his daughter Syedah Fatimah Az-Zahraa (s) in
the sacred Cemetery of Al-Baqi` in the holy city of Medinah at
the hands of Saudi rulers 83 years back, big demonstrations
were held in the holy city of Karbala on Shaval 8 Tuesday.





Holding black standards and banners inscribed with demands to
rebuild the holy shrines, the protestors were beating their
chests and reciting elegies to signify their grief on the
demolition.
They condemned these terrorist and destructive activities
which to-date targeting the holy sites and shrines, and
Islamic signs.


The protestors strongly demanded from the rulers of Najd and
Al-Hejaz (Aal-e-Sa’ud) to correct their line and reconstruct
the demolished holy shrines in Al-Baqi` Al-Gharqad.

They further demanded from the Iraqi government to immediately
rebuild holy shrines of Al-Imamayn Ali Al-Hadi (s) and Al-Hasan
Al-Askari (s) in holy Samarra which were destructed by
terrorists eight months back.
