Death anniversary of Ayatullah Sadiq as-Sadr marked

BAGHDAD, Iraq: The seventh death anniversary of Ayatullah
Mohammad Sadeq As-Sadr, the father of cleric Moqtada As-Sadr
was observed in Iraq.
 
On February 18, 1999, Ayatullah Sadiq As-Sadr (56 years),
along with two of his sons, Mustafa (34 years) and Mu'ammal,
was murdered by Saddam's regime in Iraq.
