HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Eid`ol Fitr was reverently and
enthusiastically observed in Iraq on Tuesday.
Ayatullah Sistani’s representative in Karbala, Sheikh Abdul
Mehdi Al-Karbalayi led eid prayer was offered at the holy
Husseini shrine in the holy city of Karbala attended by tens
of thousands of worshippers.
In his eid sermon, Al-Karbalayi highlighted the significance
of Eid`ol Fitr and well as threw light on Zakatil Fitrah and
its conditions in detail. He prayed for end of problems being
faced by Iraqi people.
Owing to big flocks, eid prayer was offered many a times at
the holy shrine led by different clerics.
