Re-erect Askariyain shrine, Najaf-Karbala Ramadan majales tell govt

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Ramadan’s spiritual
majales (gatherings), Qoran contests and religious meetings
were continued in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala on 8th
of the holy month of Ramadan.
Tens of thousands of worshippers attend these
gatherings that are held at the holy shrines of Al-Imam Ali
(AS), Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) and Abo’l Fazl Al-Abbas (AS) as
well as offices of Maraje Ozzam.
Ramadan spirituality and merit, excellence and sufferings of
Ahl’ol Beit (AS) and the ongoing situation of the country are
the topics addressed by speakers during the gatherings.
The speakers urged the government to reconstruct
immediately the demolished holy shrine of Al-Imamain Al-Askariyain
in the holy city of Samarra.
