BAGHDAD, Iraq: Sayyed Abdulaziz Al-Hakim, president Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq and head of Iraq United Alliance, said Omm-ol Mo’minin Sayyedah Khadija bint-i-Khawelad (p), spouse of holy Prophet (p), is a role model for world women.

Addressing a majles al-azaiyah at noon time on tenth of the holy month of Ramadan, October 4, Al-Hakim paid rich homage to Sayyedah Khadija (p) throwing light on different aspects of this great personality who nourished Islam with all her wealth and who stood by the side of holy Prophet (p) against forces of evil and ignorance.

Earlier, Al-Hakim led Zohrayn (noon) prayers.

At evening of the same day, Al-Hakim’s Baghdad office threw a big “madebah Iftaar” (iftaar table) attended by large number of people followed by maghrebayn prayers, recitation of doaa al-Iftitah and Ramadan lecture.
