Karbala confab focuses on unity by following Husseini thought

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: To pay homage to the supreme
sacrifice rendered by Al-Imam Abi Abdellah Al-Hussein (AS) along with
his companions in the burning desert of Karbala some 1,400 years ago
for defense of shariah (divine law) and safety of high human values,
first Husseini conference titled “Al-Hussein Resalah Insaniyah” was
held in the holy city of Karbala.
The conference, aimed at throwing light on Husseini thought and taking
advantage of it for unity in the ranks of wounded Iraqi nation, was
organized at Al-Qureshi Hotel.
Among the speakers were Alhaj Mostafa As-Sarraf, information director
of Ahlul Beit university Sayed Sadeq Al-Qazvini, law professor in
Karbala university Dr. Ala Al-Jabouri, chairman of Iraqi Peace
Association to Support Human Rights (which organized the occasion)
Sayed Haydar Al-i-Thabit, researcher Dr Aboud Al-Hilli of Karbala
university, Dr Haydar Al-Yacobi of law department of Karbala
university, and secretary general of Muhammad Al-Ameen (SW)
Organization AlAllama Sheikh Fadhil Al-Forati.
Religious, political and social personalities attended.
