HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Marking Al-Hozn Al-Fatimi or the Fatimi Mourning, grand spiritual gatherings were held across the country in general and in the holy cities of Najaf, Karbala, Kazemiyah and Smarra in particular on Jamadi-oth Thani 3.

Khadama-tor Rodatayn Al-Husseiniyah wal Abbasiyah wwhich include Karbala shrines officials organized a procession. The mourners while pounding their hands on chests and chanting ‘Ya Zahraa’, reached at the holy Husseini shrine and then ended their mourning at the sacred Abbasi shrine.

They extended their condolence to Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) and Abi’l Fadhl Al-Abbas (AS).

Condemning the Samarra tragedy, the mourners demanded immediate rebuilding of the destructed shrine.

Meanwhile, Al-Mawaddah wa Al-Izdahar women association with the cooperation of Karbala Hoza, Az-Zahraa Hoza and Al-Qaem Hoza organized a protest rally on Jamadi-oth Thani 2 to denounce Samarra tragedy.
