Najaf security further tightened marking Prophet (S) martyrdom day

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Security has further been beefed up for
millions of mourners of holy Prophet Muhammad (SW) who are flooding to
the holy city of Najaf to observe his martyrdom anniversary at the
shrine of Al-Imam Ali Al-Mortadha (AS).
Anniversary of martyrdom of holy Prophet Muhammad (SW) on Safar 28
falls this year on 18 March Sunday.
Col. Ali Jaryo, spokesman for Holy Najaf Police chief said while
talking to newsmen that more than 18, 000 (eighteen thousand) security
men have been deployed to implement the security plan in the holy
Najaf marking the occasion.
