Maraje, Ayaat flay Tal Afar, Khalis terrorism

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Holy Najaf and Qom Maraje and Ayaat have
strongly condemned Tuesday and Thursday terror attacks in Tal Afar and
Khalis, Iraq, urging the government to form a committee to investigate
the incidents and advising Iraqis to display patience.
At least three suicide car bombs exploded in in Khalis, 80 km (60
miles) north of Baghdad, on Thursday, leaving at least 50, martyred.
One car bomb exploded in a commercial area and a second at a major
police checkpoint leading to the police headquarters and court
building, police said. A third bomber attacked police patrols rushing
to the scene.
On Tuesday, two truck bombs martyred 85 people in Tal Afar in northern
Iraq. More than 200 were injured.
