HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Thousands gathered in the Husseini shrine compound and the area between the two holy shrines – Husseini and Abbasi – in this holy city on the call of Maraje.

Maraje had made an appeal to the people to pray to avert the conspiracy of terrorists against the patient mo’min Iraqi people.
 
The program began after Maghrib and Isha (evening) prayers followed by a lecture by Ayatullah Sayyed Mortadha Al-Qazvini on “prayer, its material and spiritual effects.”

Doa Al-Joshan As-Saghir, Doa Komayl, Doa At-Tawassol and Quranic Ayah ‘Amm-Mann Yojeeb Al-Modhtarra Iza Da’ahu wa Yakshifos-Suaa’ were recited with due reverence.
