Mawaleed, seminars mark Weladato Hauraa Zaynab (AS) in Iraq

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Marking the birth anniversary of Al-Aqeelah
Zaynab Al-Kobra (AS), daughter of Al-Imam Ali (AS), on Jamady Al-Awal
5, grand spiritual celebrations, conferences, seminars and exhibitions
were held across Iraq like other countries.
In the holy city of Karbala, which houses the holy shrines of Al-Imam
Al-Hussein (AS) and Abi’l Fazl Al-Abbas (AS), a festive gathering was
organized at the area between the two holy mausoleums.
Sayyed Abdulkarim Al-Mousawi recited Quranic verses and opened the
celebration followed by Haydar As-Salami. Poet Abdulameer Al-Khaffaji,
Sayyed Hamoudi Al-Mousawi, poet Ouras Al-Karbalayi, Sayyed Ahmad Al-Mousawi
and many others presented qasaed and eulogies in praise of Batlatu
Karbala highlighting her lofty status and role in defending Shariah.
A pictures exhibition was also witnessed in the holy city. A large
number of pictures of different flowers and roses depicting the
meaning of the word “Zaynab” were displayed at the fair.
