Dozens martyred, hurt in Kufa bomb attack

KUFA, Iraq: Several dozen innocent people were martyred and wounded
when a suicide car bomb exploded in a public square near a restaurant
in Kufa on Tuesday, according to police and witnesses.
Kufa hosts one of the four important mosques in Islam – Masjid Al-Haram,
Prophet’s mosque, Al-Aqsa Mosque and Kufa mosque -. Holy shrine of
Muslim bin Aqeel (AS) – cousin and ambassador of Al-Imam Al-Hussein
(AS) – and Mukhtar Thaqafi (RA) – who took revenge from the killers of
Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) – are also exist in this holy city.
