Ya Hussein … preparations for foreign mourners reception finalized

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: In connection with the oncoming month
of Moharram which marks the matchless sacrifice rendered by Imam
Al-Hussein (AS) along with his 72 faithful companions in the burning
desert of Karbala some 1,400 years ago, preparations to receive
Husseini mourners from outside Iraq have been finalized.
According to Karbala Governor Aqeel AlKhazali number of mourners
descending to Karbala from across the world will increase this year as
compare to last years.
Special serving arrangements (set up of tents, camps, serving meal and
drinks etc at entrance of the holy city) have been made to facilitate
Husseini mourners coming on foot.
Meanwhile, more than 600 Husseini associations in Karbala have given
their arrangements for reception of mourners from across the world
final shape.
