Arba’iniyah mourners reaching Karbala

KUFA, Iraq: Marking Ziarah Al-Arba’iniyah Al-Imam
Al-Hussein (AS) on Safar 20, millions of mourners from inside and
outside Iraq are making their way to the holy city of Karbala to
observe the occasion which falls this year on February 28.
Tens of thousands while traveling to the holy Karbala
visit Kufa for ziarah of Kufa Mosque, shrines of Muslim b. Aqeel,
Mokhtar Ath-Thaqafi and Hani b. Arwah.
Throughout the route, big camps are set up as well as
food and drinks are prepared in giant pots on streets to facilitate
the Husseini mourners.
