Attack near Al-Mokhayyam Al-Husseini claims 113 martyrs, injured

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: At least 43 pilgrims of Al-Imam
Al-Hussein (AS) have been martyred and 70 others injured when a female
suicide bomber on Monday attacked them near Al-Mokhayyam Al-Husseini
in the holy city of Karbala.
Al-Mokhayyam Al-Husseini, situated at adistance of about half a
mile from the Imam Hussein shrine, is the place where Husseini tents
were erected as Imam Al-Hussein came to Karbala on Moharram 3 in 61
AH. These tents were set on fire on Ashura after martyrdom of Imam
Al-Hussein (AS) and his 72 companions at the hands of Yazidi forces.
The Monday attack took place on Habib bin Mazaher Al-Assadi
thoroughfare at the time of (maghrib) evening prayer.
