Najaf International Airport to be opened on Imam Ali b-day

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: An important meeting to review matters
regarding construction of Al-Imam Ali International Airport was held
in the holy city of Najaf. Deputy Governor of Najaf Ashraf Al-Ostaz
Abdul Hussein Abtaan presided over the meeting.
Officials of the seven-member committee of Holy Najaf Airport and
chief engineer of the construction group attended the meeting which
was organized at the governorate office.
Abtaan said quick and solid steps are needed for completion of the
airport which is scheduled to be opened on Rajab 13 marking the birth
anniversary of Amir-ol Mo’minin Al-Imam Ali ibne Abi Talib (AS).
