Tours to Samarra shrine continue as first phase completed

HOLY SAMARRA, Iraq: As the first phase of the reconstruction work of the holy shrine of Al-Imamayn Al-Askariyain came to an end, Maraje delegates, officials, and universities expert and specialized scholars paid visit to the sacred site.

The first phase included removing debris from the holy graves of Al-Imam Ali An-Naqi Al-Hadi (AS) and Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Askari (AS), graves of Sayedah Hakimah and Sayedah Narjes, respected aunt and mother of Imam Al-Mehdi (AS) respectively as well as from the ‘Sardab Al-Gheybah’ (the place wherefrom Imam Al-Mehdi (AS) was disappeared).

UNESCO has helped in the project by dispatching 32 Muslim workers belonging to Bangladesh.
