HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Iraq’s Higher Body for Hajj and Omrah organized its fifth annual conference in the holy city of Najaf under title: “Guidance and direction work of the prophets, regents/their deputies and scholars”.

In the conference, opened with recitation of Quran, the participants recited Surah Al-Fatihah for the deceased Maraje, righteous men as well as martyrs.

In his address on the occasion, head of the body Sheikh Muhammad Taqi Al-Maula said the most important job of prophets, their deputies and friends of Allah was to educate and guide the world towards Allah; and we are passing through this holy month of Dhol-Qaadah when preparations on the part of Morshadeen of Hajj (guides of pilgrims caravans) are in continuation.

Describing the importance of hajj holy days, Taqi Al-Maula said as hajj is one of the pillars of Islam similarly it is a Shaeera from Sha’a’ir Allah (signs of Allah) that a believer reaches to the holy land and circumambulate Bayt-ul Haraam (Ka’abah). Through this worship human being makes a contact with Allah and comes to his eyes the Day of Judgment. 

Scholars from Najaf Hauzah and a number of Hajj guides from different parts of the country attended the conference.
